Panasonic Unites Industrial and Energy Divisions under PIDEIN; New CBO Named

Panasonic Life Solutions India has announced a major organizational restructuring, consolidating its Industrial Devices and Energy Solutions divisions into a unified entity called Panasonic Industry & Energy India (PIDEIN). This strategic move aims to streamline operations, enhance synergies, and accelerate growth in the Indian market.
The consolidation brings together Panasonic's expertise in industrial automation, energy management, and renewable energy solutions under a single, focused business unit. This integrated approach will enable the company to provide comprehensive solutions to industrial clients while leveraging cross-divisional capabilities.
Mr. Manish Sharma, President & CEO of Panasonic Life Solutions India, stated, "This consolidation represents our commitment to delivering integrated solutions that address the evolving needs of Indian industries. By bringing together our industrial and energy expertise, we can offer more holistic and efficient solutions to our customers."
As part of this restructuring, Panasonic has named Mr. Anil Kumar as the Chief Business Officer (CBO) of PIDEIN. Mr. Kumar brings over 25 years of experience in industrial automation and energy solutions, having previously held leadership positions in multinational technology companies.
"I'm excited to lead PIDEIN at this pivotal moment," said Mr. Anil Kumar. "The integration of our industrial devices and energy solutions will enable us to offer end-to-end solutions that help Indian industries improve efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and embrace sustainable manufacturing practices."
PIDEIN will focus on key sectors including manufacturing, infrastructure, healthcare, and commercial buildings. The consolidated entity will leverage Panasonic's global R&D capabilities and local manufacturing expertise to develop solutions tailored for the Indian market.
This restructuring aligns with Panasonic's broader strategy to strengthen its position in India's growing industrial and energy sectors while contributing to the country's sustainability goals through innovative technology solutions.
