Founded in the 1980s, Shamrik Sahayog is a registered organization supporting continuous efforts in the fields of rural education. Registered and acknowledged by the National Institution of Open Schooling (NIOS), Prayogbhumi Learning Center is making significant strides in strengthening education for young people from the rural area of Chiplun in Maharashtra.\u003C\u002Fp>\r\n\u003Cp>Through the initiative, Sandvik Coromant has supported the implementation of digital education by equipping students with educational software and access to educational TV programs, which can run offline without an internet connection. To further enrich the development of the children and improve access to education resources, a hanging library has been installed with more than 150 books, as well as solar street lights to make the center feel safer when accessed during the evening.
